In our great country we have many freedoms that we take for granted because they're seemingly things every human should have. Have you thought about these freedoms that you enjoy?
1. Grocery shopping
2. Eating at restaurants
3. Drinking whatever beverage you'd like
5. Going on vacation
6. Spending money
8. Going outside
9. Enjoying sunrises and sunsets
10. Using electricity
11. Having as many kids as you'd like. Or none.
12. Choosing a healthcare provider
13. Driving a car
14. Obtaining an education
15. Choosing a job
...definitely not an all inclusive list.
It's good to not only focus on our bigger freedoms but also the small ones that we may not have in another country. Given our freedoms, what will you choose to do with yours? Make the most of your freedoms to make a big impact on the world through something you're passionate about? Or focus on making life as pleasant as possible for yourself? Maybe you balance both of those. Whatever you choose, recognize your freedoms that many don't have and be grateful!
choices catch up with you? You choose MANY of the things that impact your health. If you start making healthy choices NOW without requiring a crisis moment caused by a new health problem, you are getting ahead of the game!
What will you choose?
I'm keeping this post short and sweet because I have one point I really want you to think about. YOU HAVE THE FREEDOM TO CHOOSE! Almost everything in your life comes with a choice and you get to decide. Will you choose gratitude or complaining? Will you choose happiness or grouchiness? Will you reach out to a friend who needs encouragement or go about your day and not think about them? Our days are literally one choice after another. Our minutes, hours, days, years are filled with choices. Be someone who uplifts and positively contributes to those around you. And this week remember that your freedom to make those choices was not free. The soldier died for your freedom on Earth. The Savior died for your spiritual freedom.
