What you do in the morning sets the tone for the rest of your day. Everyone's morning routine will look a bit different but in general, you should be awake in enough time to spend some time by yourself to gather your thoughts, set some goals and move your body.
Here's how my morning routine typically goes:
- alarm at 5:15am
- cool down and stretch while praying (I have a list of people to pray for to keep me focused)
- read from "She Reads Truth" or other Bible-centered book
- set goals/make to-do list for the day
-breakfast with the kids at 7am
- the rest of the day begins...
I challenge you to start a morning routine that looks similarly to mine. Setting your mindset and moving your body before your day begins does great things for your attitude.
