October is here! And with it comes pumpkin spice latte's, pumpkin bread, pumpkin donuts, pumpkin pie, pumpkin muffins...all sorts of pumpkin flavored sugar. Then comes the sugar in the form of Halloween Candy. With the unhealthy eating comes the ease of sliding right out of your healthy habits and right into your most comfy pair of leggings or sweats to allow your waist to get a little fluffy while still maintaining your ability to breathe. We've all been there.
October's unhealthy eating turns into a second month of unhealthy eating in November because well, Thanksgiving so why stop the bad diet now? Then after Thanksgiving comes the craziness of December and Christmas. Besides, New Years is just around the corner so I can restart my healthy habits then.
This mentality will land yourself in January feeling deflated, unmotivated, without confidence or ambition with some extra weight to lose. Choose to make this year different! Sit down and write out some goals for yourself for the last three months of the year so instead of destroying your momentum during this last few months you just build yourself up for the best start to 2020 as possible!
Sit down and make a goal about exercise, nutrition, life achievement, personal achievement and post them somewhere you'll see them every day. Remember your goals should be SMART! (Specific, Measurable, Achievable, Relevant, Time-bound)
I made a tool just to use during these last few months to help keep you motivated. Download it here!
I'd love to hear what goals you set for yourself. Email me at firstname.lastname@example.org or send me a message on facebook/IG to let me know what goals you have for your last three months of 2019!
